It’s not often that a person dresses up in costume to look like a good friend, but Brittany and Patrick Mahomes did just that recently.
Brittany, 29, posted a series of photos on Instagram of herself accompanied by her husband Patrick, also 29, but this time they were dressed in costumes reminiscent of their good friends Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce. In pictures posted on Wednesday, December 18, it looked like the two were at an Eras Tour themed party.
The wife of the Kansas City Chiefs quarterback opted for a sparkly fringed mini dress with a matching jacket reminiscent of Swift’s “Karma” jacket. She also styled her blonde hair in curls similar to how the pop star wore it circa 2008. Meanwhile, Patrick donned a tuxedo to mimic the outfit Kelce wore during one of his girlfriend’s shows in London during the Eras Tour.

Fans of the couple took to the comments of the Instagram post to express their reactions to the expectant parents’ costumes.
“You just made every Swiftie’s life sweeter / thanks,” one fan wrote, while another quipped, “@patrickmahomes looks like he’s on stage on the Eras Tour.” A third complimented the NFL player and his wife, writing, “Patrick looks so beautiful! You are so perfect together!”
The Instagram post also includes several pictures of Swift and Brittany together at the event with several other friends at the event, where they all appeared to be wearing their own Taylor Swift-era inspired outfits.
Brittany and Patrick are high school sweethearts who met as teenagers and have been married since March 12, 2022. The couple have two children: Sterling Skye, 3, and Patrick “Bronze” Lavon Mahomes III, 2. They announced they were expecting their third child in July 2024 via a joint Instagram Reel.
