Threat! acquired a second broadcast home for 2025.
The popular game show will air reruns of season 39 hosted by Ken Jennings on the Game Show Network (GSN). This will include the championship rides of Ray Lalonde and Cris Pannullo.
The GSN Instagram page broke the news on Monday, December 23. The account wrote: “The newest addition to the Game Show Network lineup? What is… @jeopardy! Jeopardy! with Ken Jennings starting Monday, January 13th at 9p on the Game Show Network!”
For the last time Threat! aired regularly on GSN in 2013, showing episodes from the show’s 25th season. There was a choice Threat! episodes that aired on GSN in 2020 in tribute to former host Alex Trebek.
GSN will broadcast and Threat! reruns every weekday at 9 p.m., with two episodes playing in each slot. This will replace replays Wheel of Fortunewhich has since moved to 2 p.m. As noted, the announcement only mentions season 39 episodes hosted by Ken Jennings and not those hosted by Mayim Bialik, who was axed from the program in December 2023.
Threat! will continue to air newer episodes in syndication on NBC along with a number of spin-off tournaments. This includes upcoming events such as Second Chance, Champion’s Wildcard, Threat! Invitation Tournament and Tournament of Champions.
Classic Trebek-era though Threat! episodes are still looking for a home after its previous home, Pluto TV, pulled the channel it aired on. Official Threat! The Instagram account has promised fans it will find a home for the classic episodes following fan backlash over the new Pluto TV show.
