Kate Beckinsale pulls off her own stunts — at least when it comes to trimming her own tree.

The 51-year-old action star was praised for her “poise” and bravery after she shared a video of herself standing on a ladder to decorate her Christmas tree while wearing eight-inch platform boots. The high boots also featured a NSFW message with “F***” and “Off” written in the toes on both sides.

Beckinsale teamed the eye-catching footwear with a soft pink cardigan over a white blouse, black shorts and white lace tights. Fans were amazed that Black canary the actress was able to hold her daughter’s new cat while leaning precariously over the tree to finish decorating.

“Everyone I love is represented on my tree, including my daughters crazy, elderly adopted cat, who she inherited from someone who died in her apartment building and whose family didn’t want him, and who Clive is now in full swing with. level [sic] affair,” Beckinsale wrote in her Instagram caption, adding, “…welcome to the family, Cat 🐈.”

The mum, who shares daughter Lily Mo, 25, with ex Michael Sheen, gave fans a closer look at the newly adopted cat in more photos from the Instagram carousel. In one, the family pet can be seen with dyed pink fur and sporting a salmon and blue sweater. The holiday-themed post also showed a close-up of Beckinsale’s beloved Pomeranian, Myf.

The post comes just days after Beckinsale shared a series of yoga videos in front of the same pink Christmas tree. The Total Recall the star was seen balancing a cat on her back as she lay down on the floor and reached behind herself to grab onto her own legs, turning her body into a bit of a basket. Her friend Jessica James could then be seen picking her up by her legs and rocking her back and forth.

Beckinsale simply captioned the weird photo shoot: “It’s okay to have weird Christmas traditions.”
