In the video, Afara puts friendship bracelets in a clear bauble, then takes apart her LED bracelet from the tour to use to hang a Christmas tree ornament. People shared their love for their idea in the comments section of the video, with many saying they were going to follow suit.

“This is the best idea I’ve ever made,” one person wrote, while another added: “I can’t wait to make one.”

Others shared their ideas, with one person commenting: “Anyone who took home confetti can add this.”

“My daughter and I made exactly this! One in our shadow box and one for the decoration. We also made one with confetti in it and one with all our leftover beads that we didn’t use. Basically everything we brought was mine turned into a keepsake,” said another Instagram user.

Another person added: “She did it with my baby too! She also wrote the date and place of the concert.”

Afara isn’t the first Swiftie to be inspired by the singer for the holiday season, as the family that went viral in 2023 for their Swift-themed Christmas home returned to the theme this year, this time including references to the singer’s latest album.

Amy and Brian Scott became internet famous last year after they decorated their home in Naperville, Illinois, highlighting the singer’s four eras: Red, Speak now, 1989 and Still. Swift’s “eras” refer not only to her album titles, but also to the world and atmosphere she creates for each release.

This year, the Scotts incorporated Reputation, Folklore and Department of Tortured Poetswhich was released on April 19, into their light display.

IN Folklore section, a moss-covered cottage replicates a scene from Swift’s Eras Tour. Inside is a chandelier, a stool and a sweater – a reference to the song “Cardigan”.

In the dedicated area Tortured poetsthere’s a cardboard cutout of Swift wearing a white Vivienne Westwood dress. There’s also an old typewriter reminiscent of the one from Swift’s “Fortnight,” and its keys spell out the message, “May you have a holiday full of joy, peace and love.”

The Reputation section features a glass display case featuring a silhouette of Swift in the striking red and black suit she wore on tour, along with a red rotary phone. The phone is a nod to the song “Anti-Hero” as a similar phone appears in the music video.
