Davidson teamed a red leather jacket with black trousers, cream trainers and a pendant necklace. But the real highlight? His freshly tousled hair, shorter than his usual cut. On video captured People, Saturday Night Live Smiling and giving the cameras a thumbs up, the alum was clearly feeling good.
Although Davidson is no stranger to red carpets, this was his first debut in over a year – he last appeared on Transformers: Rise of the Beasts premiering in June 2023.

In a magazine W interview earlier this month, Bodies Bodies Bodies the actor opened up about his recent decision to take it easy and focus on personal growth. “I don’t know if you noticed, but I was laying low,” he joked.
Reflecting on how his mindset has evolved, Davidson shared, “When I was 19, it was all about ‘fit – that mattered. Now it’s health, family, humility, being a good person, not being a drug addict. Things like that .”
He added: “Luckily I got a Hollywood shovel in the face. It’s been a long time and I needed it. I’m very happy where I am now, mentally.”
The New York native, who recently became creative director of sock brand Doublesoul, also made it clear that he’s looking to shift his public image. “I only want to be out if it’s a movie, stand-up, charity or business activities. That’s when I want to be seen. I don’t want to be the bloody loser who just hangs out with people.”
For those on the outside, Davidson’s dating history is as valuable as his career. The King of Staten Island the icon was most recently linked to Outer Banks star Madelyn Cline, with their nearly year-long romance ending in the summer of 2024. He previously had high-profile relationships with actress Chase Sui Wonders, Kim Kardashian and model Emily Ratajkowski.
In a candid chat with Real last year, Davidson reflected on the attention surrounding his love life, admitting: “I’m 20 and I’ve dated people… I don’t think it’s interesting.” He added that being known for relationships rather than work made him feel “really sick.”
