The success of Black Myth Wukong has spurred the Chinese video game industry to create more high-quality experiences for the world. After last appearing at ChinaJoy 2024, Shanghai-based developer Ultizero Games has released a new action gameplay trailer for its upcoming action RPG Lost Soul Aside, which will be released in 2025 for PS5 and PC.
The new game is said to be inspired by modern Final Fantasy and Devil May Cry games, which is evident from the fights in the gameplay trailer. We see the game’s protagonist fighting ice monsters, a giant wolf, and exploring a snowy environment with an alien companion.
We also see the hero bond with a female companion who also joins his battles. That’s just NPCs though, as Ultizero Games has confirmed that Lost Soul Aside will be a single-player game. Its premise states that its hero embarks on an “epic odyssey” to save his sister from “dimensional invaders.”
To practice lightning fast movements, the game will feature a training mode similar to the one found in Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth. Players will also have access to many elemental attacks.
You can add the game to your wishlist right now, and its simultaneous release on PC and PS5 is further proof of Sony’s newfound passion for cross-platform releases. Of course, don’t expect Sony to release their first-party games like Intergalactic on PC at the same time as their console counterparts.
Lost Soul Aside will be released sometime in 2025 for PC and PS5.
