Kylie Kelce’s new podcast, I won’t lieshe didn’t just make a splash—she caused a tsunami that knocked podcast king Joe Rogan off the top spot.
But for Kylie – who was “dragged into fame”, like The New York Times describes it, especially after her brother-in-law Travis Kelce started dating Taylor Swift in 2023 — she doesn’t necessarily look like number one. Still, beating Rogan, 57, has its perks, she acknowledged.
“I couldn’t worry about spreadsheets,” said the 32-year-old mother of three, who is currently pregnant with her fourth child. The New York Times in an interview published on Thursday, December 19. But the backlash from online naysayers, critics and detractors?
“It gets to me,” she joked.
Kylie, who has been married to former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce since 2018, has made occasional appearances on Jason and Travis. New heights podcast — but was inspired to “control the narrative” once her fame skyrocketed in the shadow of Travis’ romance with Swift.

“When I said ‘I’d rather be behind the scenes,’ I meant it very seriously… I don’t like the spotlight on me,” Kylie told listeners on the show’s debut episode. I won’t liewhich was released on December 5. “So the last two years have forced me to turn that into a positive, to figure out how to control the narrative and embrace it. And I think that perfectly sums up why we’re here.”

“I focus on publishing content that people enjoy consuming,” she emphasized. “If it gets us there [at the top of the charts] for a week, fine. If it puts us there longer, fine. But I also don’t need to feed any conflict that will arise.’
Ultimately, Kylie is all about keeping it real.
“Maybe it’s a promise not to lie to yourself,” she said of the pod’s instant success.
