Jennifer Lopez took to Instagram to share some new photos from her holiday trip to Aspen on Wednesday, December 25, where she was joined by various family members on Christmas Day.
In one of the sweet snaps, Jennifer, 55, posed with her sister Lynda as they shared a kiss.
For the rest of the presentation, Jennifer sat in the snow with her 16-year-old daughter, Emme Maribel Muñiz, showing the family gifts for the launch.
In a separate Instagram video, Jennifer also showed a video of the family by the fire, joined by her son Max Muñiz. The “Jenny from the Block” musician welcomed Emme and her twin brother during her marriage to Marc Anthony.
“Merry Christmas Eve to you and yours 🤍🎄,” she captioned the video.
Jennifer and Lynda have made a few appearances together over the years, but keep things relatively private. Lynda, 53, works as a journalist, formerly of VH1 The Daily One and an Emmy Award-winning television news anchor WB 11 Morning Newsaccording to People magazine.
“When I moved to LA, one of the things I missed the most was being friends with my sisters, especially Lynda,” Jennifer said. HuffPost Live in 2014.
Jennifer also has another sister named Leslie, who is the oldest of them at 57 years old. Leslie works as a music teacher, studied opera and musical theater, pen People magazine.
In 2002, all three siblings sat down for an interview with Oprah and gave some insight into their family dynamic. “As a child, Jen was a leader,” Leslie said. “Any plan that was hatched was usually her idea.
“Whose idea was it to jump out the window onto that roof? It was Jennifer’s,” added Leslie. “Who nailed me off the roof?”
Lynda chimed in, pointing out that it was Jennifer, but as the youngest sibling, she was bullied by both sisters. “We were all very close in age,” Jennifer added. “He’s a year and a half younger than me, yes?”
