Alyssa “Bunnie XO” DeFord does it all – modeling, podcasting and music. But there’s one thing her husband, country singer Jelly Roll, might argue with you about: cooking.

In a video shared on her Instagram page on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25, Bunnie, 44, joked about her cooking skills, which she claims aren’t the best.

“When you can’t bake to save your life, but your husband demands gluten-free cookies and knows how awful it’s probably going to be,” Bunnie captioned the video.

Bunnie’s cookies obviously didn’t look appetizing and the “Need a Favor” hitmaker, 40, had jokes.

“These are going to be terrible. They look like candy,” he said.

Bunnie laughed at that and then asked, “Should I make them bigger? I’m not a baker.”

Jelly replied, “I’d give them more than an inch. I’d give them an inch and a half.”

The couple likes to joke around, but in their serious, romantic moments, both are often open about how they make each other better people.

She talked to Jelly in November People and shared how she and Bunnie managed to make their marriage work. He noted that the key to their successful marriage is being intentional with their time. Specifically, the couple never spend more than two weeks apart, despite their busy schedules.

“Fortnight has been our rule from the beginning,” Jelly said. “We actually put the same rule in place with our 16-year-old [daughter Bailee]. Because we realized we were going a month or two straight without seeing her, and I thought, this just has to be family.”

Jelly continued, nothing like putting family first changed his life.

“My world shrank when I focused on one woman,” Jelly said. “Everything that I believe is right for me is the fact that I’m pretty grounded in my family.
