Candace Cameron Bure knows it’s “never comfortable” watching her husband during kissing scenes, but luckily she has a fast-forward button to help.
The Fuller House alum shared like this will save husband Valeri Bure from having to watch her kiss someone else when she appeared at the first Great American Family Christmas Festival in New York City on Sunday, December 15.
“I don’t think it’s that comfortable for anybody — maybe if you’re an actor married to another actor — it’s just never comfortable to look at your husband in someone’s arms, even if it’s a kiss or a kiss or something.” Candace, 48, told Fox News Digital.
She and girlfriend Danica McKellar admitted that whenever these kissing scenes came up, they would “fast forward” or go to commercial. This does not mean that Valeri (50) does not support his wife – to whom he has been married since 1996 and with whom he has children Natasha (26), Lev (24) and Maksim (22).
The “Queen of Christmas Movies” says her husband is “proud” of all her projects and “so supportive.” The decision to fast forward these scenes came after the two had a lot of conversations.
“We have those honest conversations. He’s like, ‘I really don’t want to watch that part,’ and ‘I don’t want to let you into it.’ But… we kind of worked through those feelings to a place where we both feel comfortable and supported by it,” Candace explained.
The Full house star alum v Sweet Christmas, Christmas less traveledand Let it snow for the Great American Family network this holiday season, and shared with Fox News Digital how the films have become such a support for her.
“I love making these movies,” she gushed. “15 years ago, when I made my very first one, I had no idea that it would be such a massive genre for so many years.” But they keep making them because “people love them.”
Candace said, “People feel so touched and mean something to them, whether it’s a new tradition they’ve created for their own families or because they watch some of our movies and connect in some meaningful way.”
The fans seem to have connected A Christmas Less Traveled — which premiered Nov. 16 — in which Candace’s character finds a recorded message from her late father. She said fans called the film “so touching” and credited it with getting them “through the holidays,” which is all. View the alum needed to hear.
