Boxer Devin Haney’s partner, Leena Sayed, has spoken out after a viral video captured her visiting rapper Jeffery Williams, professionally known as Young Thug, while he was in prison.
Social media influencer Sayed, who has more than 700,000 followers on Instagram, is rumored to have tied the knot with Haney in 2023, although neither has publicly confirmed the speculation. Sayed is currently expecting her first child.
On December 23, their relationship became a talking point across social media when nearly 15 minutes of video footage was shared on X, formerly Twitter, showing Sayed talking to hip-hop star Williams while he was incarcerated.
In the footage, which was time-stamped July 29, 2022, Sayed was seen crying as she told Williams during their jailhouse phone call: “I don’t like anybody. Nobody’s like you. I don’t like them… I want you.”

Earlier, Williams, who was behind bars at the time awaiting a criminal trial in Georgia, told Sayed, “I don’t want to be a burden.”
Shortly after the video was shared on social media, Sayed used her own account to clarify one particular point about the timing of the prison visit.
In an apparent response to accusations across social media that it was cheating, Sayed wrote in an Instagram Story post: “The video was before I met my [baby daddy]… I would never talk to a rapist or any other man.”

Williams returned to X, where he hadn’t posted in over a month, to deny that anything romantic had happened between him and Sayed.
“Man, me and the twin were talking about a whole other serious s***,” he wrote on stage. “I don’t know [why] she talked about loving other people or whatever because she doesn’t give a f*** fit no h*** or n*****. I’m a major P lol that’s my twin and nothing else. I never never will lol.”
“I can have that lil s*** right now if I wanted but she pushed the p harder than the n***** lol it’s a twin,” he added in a follow-up post. “I have who I want.
At the time of the video’s timestamp, Williams was behind bars awaiting trial after being charged with violating Georgia’s Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations (RICO) Act, which targets individuals working under a criminal organization.

The hip-hop star was one of 28 defendants in the case, in which he was charged with racketeering conspiracy and involvement in street gang criminal activity, along with drug and weapons violations.
Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis announced a sweeping indictment in May 2022, accusing Williams of being the leader of Young Slime Life (YSL), an Atlanta-based street gang affiliated with the Bloods.
After an 11-month trial—the longest in Georgia history—Williams was released from custody on October 31, 2024, after pleading guilty to several charges as part of a negotiated plea deal.
A plea bargain is entered into when prosecutors and the defense cannot reach an agreement on a sentence. Both sides present their case to a judge, who then decides what sentence to hand down.
Williams pleaded guilty to most of the counts he was charged with — including firearms, drug and gang charges — but pleaded no contest to conspiracy to violate RICO and participating in a leadership role in criminal street gang activity.
The rapper’s plea of no contest means he accepts the conviction but does not admit he is guilty of the crimes.
Following the plea agreement, Judge Paige Reese Whitaker sentenced Williams to five years in prison, suspended for time served, and 15 years of probation, followed by 20 years in prison. The suspended prison sentence will be commuted if Williams complies with the terms of his probation.
