With the holidays approaching, is there anything better than getting together with your loved ones and watching a Christmas movie? Your favorite stars feel the same way. Many entertainment icons have shared their favorite Christmas movies over the years.
Here are some of the Christmas classics that stars love the most.
Elf
Billy Eichner, Paris Hilton and Austin Butler all said Variety that their favorite Christmas movie is Elf in 2022. Eichner even told the paper, “Will Ferrell should have won an Oscar for Elf. I really feel that way.” Kerry Washington tweeted her love for Will Ferrell’s comedy in 2022, and Jack Black declared the film his favorite at the film’s premiere. Jumanji 2 back in 2019.
Holiday
Jack Black may have forgotten he was in a Christmas movie in the clip above, but plenty of other celebrities remember it well. Idina Menzel said Variety it was her favorite because “Jude Law is so hot in it” and Kim Kardashian mentioned it as one of her favorites on her blog back in 2009.
It’s a wonderful life
Both Kathy Bates and Dolly Parton have listed the classic holiday movie as their favorite, with Bates even saying she’d like to play the angel Clarence. How the Grinch Stole Christmas Director Ron Howard even said, “I don’t know how many times I’ve seen it It’s a wonderful life.” Steven Spielberg said it best when he said, “I think it’s a wonderful life and we should all feel that way.”
A Charlie Brown Christmas
