Sean Baker’s Palme d’Or winning film, Anorais headed to digital after its theatrical release this fall, which earned $13.4 million at the domestic box office and impressed both critics and audiences, scoring 96% and 90% respectively on Rotten Tomatoes.

Led by Mikey Madison, Anora follows a young sex worker whose life changes when she meets the naïve son of an oligarch. However, when his parents find out, things take a turn and it becomes a comedy of errors as her fairy tale begins to unravel.

Madison’s performance has already won several awards from the guilds, and this success is expected to continue in the new year at the Oscars, where the film is expected to receive several nominations.

Joining Mikey Madison in the cast are actors Mark Eydelshteyn, Yura Borisov, Karren Karagulian and Vache Tovmasyan.

Anora is now available for pre-order across Video on Demand platforms. Anora is available from 9pm PT on December 16 / midnight ET on December 17 on platforms like Prime Video in 4K Ultra HD, HD and SD.

Anor physical release date

Anora it is not currently available on physical media, and there is no expected release date for DVD, Blu-ray and 4K Ultra HD copies.

Is Anora available for streaming in the US?

Anora is not currently available on any US streaming platform, but in 2017, NEON and Hulu signed an exclusive partnership, which means Hulu gets exclusive rights to stream movies released by the distributor.

Whatever it suggests Anora will end up on Hulu has not been confirmed.
