In the years that Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been married, they’ve established their own holiday traditions. And one annual favorite is their own take on the famous Italian dish.

As Stefani and Shelton, who tied the knot in 2021, prepare for their fourth Christmas together as a married couple, it looks like they’ll keep the tradition alive — if the No Doubt singer’s past comments are any indication.

In a 2023 interview with Fun tonightThe 55-year-old “Hollaback Girl” hitmaker explained that she, Shelton and her three children enjoy spinning on a plate called a timpano dome.

“We started by always trying to find something that wasn’t traditional — like, let’s try something different, try something new,” Stefani said. “We came across this dish called the timpano dome…it’s basically like lasagna, but it’s in this dome of either bread or pasta. We started doing it a few years ago and now it’s it.”

With 2024 set to be Stefani and Shelton’s fourth Christmas together as a family — the “Don’t Speak” singer shares sons Kingston, 18, Zuma, 16, and Apollo, 10, with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale — the them to keep this tradition going … even though their version of the food may differ from traditional Italian recipes.

“Some Italians would probably go crazy over it because typically it was pasta wrapped around it, but we started making pizza dough because it tastes amazing,” Stefani said at the time. “Maybe I’ll make the dough myself this year – which would be a lot on Christmas Day… But maybe I’ll do it the day before.”
